Okay, so Ben just slipped that one in his last post. (We are horrible at blogging.) I am 19.5 weeks pregnant. For those of you who no longer count your life in weeks, that is almost half way! I have just finally started to show, and then all of a sudden in the last few days my belly has popped I am feeling a little whale-ish. Baby is kicking like crazy. It feels like acrobatics. We just had the 3-D ultrasound and found that our baby is healthy! Hooray! I will post pictures of me and baby soon and let you know if it is a boy or a girl. :)

What drives this, lust for power?
Since we don't do enough interesting things in our life to blog, I figure that I will just post links to interesting stuff I run across.

And we're back.
Quick update since I've been blog lazy.
In February, we went to Baja to see the whales!
In March, I was in this show. (Do you recognize me?) Then I went to the Bahamas. Ben worked. Lots. :(
In April we celebrated Easter and our birthdays in Sacramento, and then we went to Disneyland with the Fabulous Fords.
In May, I was busy preparing my students for their spring concert. Ben worked. And now it's the middle of June! Where does life go?

Dear Neighbor
Dear Neighbor,
Newsflash- we live in Santa Barbara not a sketchy neighborhood in Los Angeles. You do not need a car alarm that honks obnoxiously every time your cat jumps on your car. Ben and I would experience fewer headaches and get much better sleep if you would kindly disable your alarm.
Yours truly,
Apt. F

Here we go AGAIN!
Santa Barbara is on fire for the third time this year. The fire is somewhere inside the city less than a mile away from where we live and the hospital. Alex took these pictures as she ran an errand a few minutes away from our apartment. Good thing that we made an emergency backpack for family home evening a few months ago...makes it really easy to just grab it and a couple of toothbrushes and leave. We aren't on official mandatory evacuation yet, but a few streets away they are. Weird.Luckily, we have some good friends from church who called us unprompted and asked if we would come spend the night at their house, which is outside the evacuation area.
